Welcome to Iota Lamda Iota!

Alpha Chi Omega is a national women's organization that enriches the lives of both its collegiate and alumnae members through lifetime opportunities for friendship, leadership, learning and service. That is the mission of our national sorority, and Iota Lambda Iota, the Lake Country, Illinois, alumnae chapter, helps further that mission for local Alpha Chi Omega (AXO) alumnae. The chapter gives Lake County alums opportunities to continue an active association with their sorority locally and to enjoy the benefits of lifetime membership.

Iota Lambda Iota organizes social and educational events for its members. It coordinates members' efforts to support the sorority's philanthropies at the local and national level with service projects and fund-raising. Supporting victims of domestic violence is AXO's national altruistic cause. Check out our calendar of events to find out what our next great event is!

Iota Lambda Iota members are graduates of collegiate chapters all around the US, and they currently range in age from 24 to 90!

Here's what our current members have to say about why they belong to the chapter:

"I really enjoy the camaraderie with different age groups.  In all the years that I've been a member, I've always treasured the bonds between women that Alpha Chi fosters." - Debbie Willgress

"It's the altruism.  I love the opportunities for service." - Elaine O'Donnell

"It's great to stay connected with the national organization.  Wherever I've lived, I've had a chance to make new friends and continue to enjoy the friendship of other Alpha Chis." - Kathy Mark
